4 crews entered the Weald Beginners Rally, which is the culmination of a new initiative by Weald member clubs to offer a meaningful way of being able to join the main championship events with a solid understanding of the task before them.

This years championship ran from October ’24 to March ’25, with 8 clubs organising 9 events. Championship scores were calculated on the best 6 scores, but only for crews who organised or marshalled on a round of the championship.

The regs are going to be launched shortly for the Weald Beginners Rally School 12 Car Rally, to be held on the 11th of April, starting at the Wings Bar at Headcorn Aerodrome.
The event will have priority entry for any crews who have taken part in ANY of the rally school evenings, and as a taster event is open to any crews who have not taken part in a 12 car navigation rally and are not members of a recognised Motorsport UK club, AND is also open to any crews who have competed before at Novice level, but have not finished in the top 6 in the last year.
You can get primed for entry by creating your Weald ID’s here, which is an essential part of the entry process for Weald 12 car events.
The 11th of April sees the culmination of the Weald Beginners Rally School with the running of a Novice level event aimed at anyone who has attended ANY of the rally school training evenings AND/OR anyone who wants to have a go at a 12 car event without it being part of the Weald 12 Car Championship.
The event will start and finish at The Wings Bar @ Headcorn Aerodrome
Priority will be given to those who have been to rally school evenings – Supplementary Regs and Entry details will be available soon
